Dr. Jana Minov was born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia in the family of accomplished professional musicians. Ms. Minov holds a Doctorate in Orchestral and Opera Conducting from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in conducting from the Conservatory of Music in Belgrade-Serbia. Before coming to Arizona, Ms. Minov worked as a professor at the school of music and assistant conductor in National Opera Theater in Belgrade. Ms. Minov was also a founder and artistic director of the chamber choir and due to her great contribution to Serbian music and culture, in 2011 Dr. Minov was inaugurated a cultural ambassador for Serbia for the North America. Ms. Minov was on staff of The Phoenix Symphony for 2010/11 serving as the Assistant Chorus Master. She was a pianist at the Trinity Lutheran church and served as music director at Horizon Church in Phoenix for fifteen years. In the fall of 2024, Minov has been appointed founding music director of Encore of Chorale of Phoenix. At the same time Dr. Minov was thrilled to join Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church and serve as a music director.
Dr. Minov is accomplished music educator, pianist and vocalist and she has been teaching music at Arete Prep Academy since 2009.
Dr. Olga Kim, a native of Tashkent (Uzbekistan), arrived in the United States in Fall 2012 to begin work on Professional Performance Certificate with Lisa Leonard at Lynn University Conservatory of Music. She made her New York City debut with the Tashkent Piano Trio in 2013.
While completing her Bachelor Diploma at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan she presented many solo and chamber recitals at the most important cultural cities in her homeland.Olga graduated from the Arizona State University with her Doctorate degree in May 2019. Dr. Kim joined Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church in 2024.
Dr. Kim resides in Gilbert, AZ and she is actively teaching and performing.
